| I believe our memory of past experiences is the base of our creativity. I use pieces, what I call "memory molecules", of these experiences to create my work. Images work particularly well for this in that we can all relate to the common images we see in our popular media. I remove parts of these images from their context and arrange them in a way to form a new notion, idea or statement.
Most of my work deals with social comment and illustrates my thinking about subjects such as war, religion, gender related issues, and how I see people relating to each other in our world. |
